We (Sneau) Grew Food

Posted on July 25, 2009

After we (Sneau) planted the garden, I said “If we get ONE thing we can eat, it will be a success.”

I made him pick these two tomatoes last night. They aren’t quite ripe but they have stretch marks/splits and I didn’t want insects to taste them before we got to.

Our pea plants completely died, the basil is kind of sad looking, and the watermelon is growing but not very fast.

The squash and pumpkin plants have pretty flowers and I think they will be fine. The peppers are alive and appear to be trying to do something productive, and I’m not sure what the update is on the cantaloupe or cucumbers… They must not be doing anything noteworthy.
